Exhibition: Tiggo You'an - 2022 Chinese New Year Exhibition

【Exhibition Introduction】
Yang and cloth gas, spring run north window. On the eve of the Year of the Tiger, the National Museum of China will soon hold the "Tiggo You'an - 2022 New Year Exhibition".
The exhibits on display, from the Shang Dynasty to the beginning of the 21st century, are rich in categories, covering bronze, jade, ceramics, silk weaving, calligraphy, painting and other forms of material and cultural relics, reflecting the long-standing and endless tiger culture of the Chinese nation. Among them, the Jade Tiger Pendant of the Shang Dynasty is simple and vivid, highlighting the beauty of ancient times; the Tiger Hammer of the Western Zhou Dynasty, dignified and elegant, is a ceremonial heavy weapon; the Tangyang Marquis Tiger Charm of the Western Han Dynasty, simple and exquisite, is the proof of conscription and deployment of soldiers. A variety of gold, jade and copper tile utensils with tigers as shapes and patterns are both practical and aesthetic, decorating people's daily lives; paintings and porcelain depicting seasonal times carry the expectations and emotional sustenance of the ancients for the New Year; and the works of art with the tiger as the theme show people's praise for the exuberant vitality. The exhibition also exhibits a number of works by contemporary artists on the New Year and calligraphy and painting to show the new chapter of the times and the beautiful wishes for the New Year.
