The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Art Exhibition was held in Guangzhou

On January 17, the award ceremony of the second Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Art Exhibition was held at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou.

  

Guided by the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the Information Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, and hosted by the Guangdong Association for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation, the exhibition aims to build a cultural and artistic exchange platform for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area 9+2 and radiate mainland cities, promote the greater feelings, mutual understanding, mutual trust, mutual learning and harmonious development of young people in the Greater Bay Area, encourage young people in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to carry forward traditional Chinese culture, and promote cultural exchanges in the Greater Bay Area.

It is reported that the exhibition and performance activities were officially launched on April 30, 2021, and were held online and offline, and more than 100 outstanding works were selected from more than 213 works of nearly 3,000 contestants in Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhaoqing, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and other prefectures and cities to participate in the "General Exhibition". The Hong Kong Dance Federation is composed of an expert jury composed of President Chen Qixin, Vice President Du Shaoliang, Chairman Chen Shaoyu, Vice Chairman Zhang Guiying, Vice Chairman Li Peipei, Tsang Tai (Consultant) of the Hong Kong Dance Federation, and 22 works were jointly selected by the Hong Kong Folk Dance Examination Centre, and 6 works were selected by the Macao Dance Federation to represent Hong Kong and Macao in the general exhibition.

The award ceremony awarded gold, silver and bronze awards to the total exhibition performers, and the outstanding works and the "Little Lotus" works of The Xinghai Children's Palace in Guangzhou made wonderful performances at the award ceremony.
