Suzuki 1996 GSX-R750 SRAD resurrection racing car

In mid-November last year, Team Classic Suzuki "Suzuki Classic", a subsidiary of Suzuki UK, released their latest racing project, the 1996' GSX-R750 SRAD.

Between 1988 and 2002, WSBK's highest-class WSB races were held in either the four-cylinder 750 cc class or the two-cylinder 1000 cc class (two cylinders from the initial below 900 cc to the last 1,000 cc or less) (Note: 2003 was a transitional period, with both 750 cc and 1,000 cc four-cylinder cars). At that time, the Suzuki GSX-R750 was the factory's weapon in the WSBK, and it was also the only manufacturer of the four Japanese manufacturers to launch a "cheap" commercially available version of the 750 cc supercar. Introduced in 1996, the GSX-R750, one of its signature conforms to SRAD: Suzuki Ram Air Direct, "Direct Stamping Intake".

As the name suggests, the 1996' GSX-R750 SRAD race car, built by Suzuki Classic Team, was extensively modernized using the original 1996' GSX-R750 as the base car. The car will replace their existing XR69 F1 car (a power unit based on a 1986' GSX-R1100G wind/oil-cooled engine) and is planned for use in the 2022' Classic TT "Classic TT" (a competition group within the Isle of Man Tourist TT) with modified old cars as race machines, as well as some local vintage/nostalgia car races in Europe.

This completely modernized 1996' GSX-R750 SRAD car uses the original basic power unit and chassis/frame, and in addition to the greatly enhanced engine interior, some external modifications are roughly as follows:

1. Shell components made of full carbon fiber composite materials. The design inspiration for the exterior pattern is the iconic design lucky Strike "Good Color" on the WGP500 factory racing car RGV500 in the WGP500;

2. Front and rear suspension system provided by K-Tech, a local brand in the United Kingdom;

3. Racing grade gearbox with near-shifting ratio;

4. Dry clutch;

5. Longer swingarm to improve stability during acceleration;

6. Oil pan made of magnesium aluminum alloy and offset design;

7. Exhaust system from Yoshimura Yoshimura;

8. OZ's lightweight front and rear wheel frames;

9. Brembo's brake system and clutch hydraulic pump;

10, racing dashboard, a large number of CNC processing, as well as carbon fiber components, titanium alloy fasteners and so on.
