Black Sesame Intelligence and BlackBerry reached a cooperation to create an autonomous driving platform

On January 18, Black Sesame Intelligent announced that it will cooperate with BlackBerry QNX to create a highly reliable, high-performance, flexible and open autonomous driving platform. The platform will be based on Black Sesame's intelligent and high-performance Huashan No. 2 A1000 autonomous driving computing chip, using BlackBerry's real-time operating system (RTOS) that has passed ISO 26262 ASIL-D safety certification, aiming to provide automakers and Tier 1 automotive suppliers with innovative solutions with high computing power, high stability and reliability, and high portability, and accelerate the mass production and listing of autonomous driving models. At present, the two sides have jointly obtained a series of car company projects, with the goal of achieving mass production in 2022.
