The platform will be based on Black Sesame's intelligent, high-performance Huashan No. 2 A1000 autonomous driving computing chip, using BlackBerry's real-time operating system (RTOS) that has passed ISO 26262 ASIL-D security certification.
The cooperation between the two will provide automakers and Tier 1 auto suppliers with autonomous driving solutions and accelerate the mass production of autonomous vehicles, and has now reached cooperation with some car companies, and is expected to achieve mass production in 2022.
