A Przewalski's gazelle treated in Gaotai, Gansu Province, healed and returned to nature

Recently, the Forest Police Brigade of the Gaotai County Public Security Bureau cooperated with the staff of the county's wildlife protection and management station to release a national first-class protected animal, the wild Przewalski's gazelle, back into nature.

It is understood that the Przewalski's gazelle, which was released back into nature, was rescued by Wang Zhidong, a villager in Liusan Village, Heli Town, Gaotai County, in November 2021, when its front leg was injured and it could not move in place. After inspecting the injuries of the Przewalski's gazelle, the authorities temporarily fostered it in the villagers' homes. At present, this Przewalski's gazelle has recovered from its injuries and has the conditions for release in the wild.

According to the reporter's understanding, since 2021, Gaotai County has successfully rescued 21 wild animals (only).
