It is understood that Cao Cao Travel was established in 2015 and belongs to Geely Technology Group Co., Ltd. Previously, in February 2019, Cao Cao Chauffeur announced a comprehensive upgrade, and the brand and service were changed to "Cao Cao Travel". At present, Cao Cao Travel's business has included special cars, taxis, green official services, Cao Cao help, low-carbon U products, Cao Cao carbon bank, Cao Cao media, Cao Cao self-parade, Cao Cao Walk, etc., and has been operated in 30 cities across the country, launching 32,000 new energy vehicles.
According to Cao Cao Travel, in 2015, the platform took the lead in involving new energy vehicles in shared travel, and established Cao Cao Carbon Bank to establish a carbon emission reduction account for users; in 2018, it was selected as a pilot enterprise for near-zero carbon emission transportation in Zhejiang Province; in 2019, the CITIC Construction Investment-Beiyin Fengye-Geely CaoCao Special Vehicle Green Asset Support Special Plan (ABS) was successfully issued; in 2021, Cao Cao Travel gradually launched the use of new energy replacement models "Maple Leaf 80V", and carried out "carbon neutrality" strategic cooperation with Geely Digital.
According to official data, the total mileage of Cao Cao's green travel has exceeded 7.630 billion kilometers, equivalent to the earth circling the sun 8 times, and the total carbon emission reduction has exceeded 1.0835 million tons, which is equivalent to planting 59.2055 million trees, accumulating 1.206 billion degrees of charging, and saving 534 million liters of fuel resources. At present, Cao Cao Travel has accumulated more than 60 million registered users, more than 3 million registered drivers, and more than 10 million government and enterprise employees, and has covered 62 cities.
