A total of more than 500,000 yuan of funds involved in the case were returned to the hands of the three victims, and the excited victims sent pennants with the words "For the people to think, do their duty", thank the Songjiang police for their timely discovery and rapid disposal, and guard their "money bags". The Songjiang Branch of the Public Security Bureau recently held the first centralized return of funds involved in new types of telecommunications network violations and crimes in 2022, and the funds involved three telecommunications network fraud cases, and the three victims were deeply involved in "pig killing plates", impersonating bosses to defraud financial personnel, investment and financial management, and other forms of fraud.

On the same day, the victim Yang Mou received 425,185 yuan of returned funds, and she was the victim of the "pig killing plate". "Pig killing plate" refers to a fraudulent method in which fraudsters use online dating to cultivate feelings with victims and induce victims to invest in gambling, and victims are often deeply involved. On February 23, 2020, Yang passed the friend application of stranger "Joseph" on a dating software, and in the chat, "Joseph" claimed to be doing diamond business in Los Angeles, USA. After a period of sweet talk, the two added WeChat to each other and then established a relationship. On April 20 of the same year, "Joseph" told him that he was going to London to participate in a jewelry show, and then flew to China, because the 95 kilograms of diamonds he carried were very inconvenient, and he needed to mail it to Yang and ask her to keep it on her behalf. Although he felt that something was wrong, at the insistence of the other party, Yang agreed and informed the delivery address. Soon after, Yang mou repeatedly received emails claiming to be a courier company, requiring her to pay various fees such as value-added tax, unbox inspection, insurance and so on. Yang Believed that it was true, and transferred a total of more than 800,000 yuan through mobile banking and counter remittance.
Li Mou, the person in charge of a company, received 52,200 yuan of return funds. On January 31, 2015, fraudsters impersonated Li and asked Li's company finances through chat tools, that is, the victim Ren transferred 35,080 yuan and 52,200 yuan to the two accounts respectively, and Ren did not verify the identity of the other party and directly transferred the money. After the operation was completed, Ren received a call from a colleague to inquire, only to find that he had been deceived, and then called the police.
Another victim, Li Mou, received a return of 95,000 yuan, and he fell into the trap of investment and financial management under the matchmaking of colleagues. On January 17 last year, Li was introduced by a colleague that he could invest in movies through a film and television App, and Li then downloaded and installed the App and began to invest the next day. He first transferred 21,000 yuan to the designated account through mobile banking to recharge the App account. Subsequently, Li invested 16,000 yuan in the movie "Da Hong Pao" on the App, and invested 5,000 yuan in the movie "Beijing Love Picture Book" the next day. At that time, the app showed that the interest period of "Da Hong Pao" was 15 days, and the interest rate was 50%, and the interest period of "Beijing Love Picture Book" was 3 hours, and the interest was more than 300 yuan. After the colleague again introduced the so-called investment, Li transferred 95,000 yuan to another account through other banks. Soon after, Li found that all the money he invested in the app had disappeared, and he could not contact customer service, which made him realize that he had been deceived.
In fact, the amount involved in the three cases is far more than the more than 500,000 yuan that has been recovered. Because the online platform transfer is fast and hidden, most of the amount is often transferred out of the original transfer account before the victim realizes that he has been deceived. "When receiving the victim's alarm, the police will coordinate with the bank to operate the 'stop payment' process on the transfer account for the first time, which is actually a time grab with the criminal suspect." The relevant person in charge of the criminal investigation detachment of the Songjiang Branch of the Public Security Bureau revealed, "Many times, the more mature fraud gangs use online banking operations, and it only takes a few seconds for the funds involved in the case to be transferred, and it is more difficult to recover them later." At all times, members of the public should be cautious about transfer requests to prevent being deceived. ”
