Suspected of using false prices to lure transactions, one of Watson's stores was fined 50,000 yuan

According to the website of the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System, the second branch of Beijing Watsons Personal Products Chain Store Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "second branch") was fined 50,000 yuan recently for the illegal act of using false price means to lure consumers into trading with it.

According to the Administrative Penalty Decision No. 7 [2022] of the Jingyan Municipal Supervision Penalty, the second branch released information on the promotion price of the relevant products in order to make customers feel that the promotional price was preferential and cheap, attracted the attention of customers, and increased sales, but the products involved were never sold at the original price marked by the publicity.

In this regard, the Beijing Yanqing District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau ordered the second branch to correct the above illegal acts, and decided to give a warning and a fine of 50,000 yuan.

According to the Tianyancha APP, the second branch was established on July 31, 2020. The business scope includes the sale of daily necessities, toys, glasses, jewelry, gifts, handicrafts, knitted textiles, clothing, shoes and hats, hardware, household appliances, computers, software and auxiliary equipment, stationery, cosmetics, hygiene products, sporting goods, chemical products, communication equipment, electronic products, class I medical devices, class II medical devices; design, production, agency, advertising, etc. (Zhongxin Jingwei APP)
