The battle was deadlocked and the situation could not be opened for a long time, which made the two commanders Peng Jingwen and Zhai Zhongyu very annoyed.
On the night of the third day, Peng and Zhai were studying the battle in the temporary command post when suddenly the guards came in to report that a company had sent an enemy deserter.
As soon as Peng Jingwen heard that it was an enemy deserter, he replied with disgust: "Take it up." ”
The guard replied "yes" and was just about to go out, Zhai Zhongyu stopped him, and then said to Peng Jingwen: "Wait a while to study, first ask this deserter, how do you see?" ”
