First, the traffic situation is judged
Affected by the epidemic situation during the Spring Festival, mass travel will be transformed from passenger transport to self-driving, chartered cars, etc., and the total amount of travel will drop significantly, but there will be short-term traffic peaks at important time nodes such as the Spring Festival holiday and the Lantern Festival.
First, road travel remains at a high level. According to the Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the willingness to return home during the Spring Festival in 2022 has increased significantly compared with last year, the scale of the flow of Spring Festival personnel has increased year-on-year, and the flow of migrant workers, visiting relatives, and students is intertwined with the flow of transportation of goods such as energy, daily necessities, and epidemic prevention materials, and road travel will still show a medium and high level of operation in the total amount.
The second is the gradual release of self-driving travel demand. Affected by the epidemic, mass travel will be mainly self-driving and chartered cars, and travel demand will be gradually released as the epidemic prevention and control situation tends to stabilize. However, the situation of concentrated travel with large passenger flow and large traffic flow has been alleviated to a certain extent. It will show the characteristics of staggered peak travel and tidal spatio-temporal distribution.
Third, rain, snow, ice and fog occur frequently. According to the forecast of the meteorological department, the cold air activity in the northwest region is frequent during the Spring Festival, and the possibility of extreme weather is greater. Bad weather such as rain, snow, ice and haze will adversely affect travel, and easily cause traffic safety hazards such as icy road surface and reduced visibility.
