His original name was Gan Qingmian ,庠名以敬; Born in the fourth year of Tongzhi (1865), Henan Xinyang Lijiazhai Ganjia Chong Laoyuan people. In his youth, he was eager to learn and think well, and in his youth, he participated in the imperial examination and won the honor of xiucai. In his middle age, he was influenced by Kang Liang's new reform ideas, advocating the way of enriching the country and strengthening the people and saving the country through industry. He once served as the director of the Xinyang County Persuasion Institute, advising the Chinese people to work together and establishing national industry and commerce. And self-opened factories, commercial houses, pharmacies, bookstores and other industries, has a relatively strong economic strength.

In the twenty-ninth year of Qing Guangxu (1903), Gan Yijing was enthusiastic about the construction of his hometown, contacted local gentry landlords, planted tea gardens, and founded the first economic entity in Xinyang, "Yuanzhen Tea Society". This economic form of production, cultivation, improvement and promotion is not only the first in Xinyang, but also the first case in the history of tea in modern China. Since then, Xinyang joint-stock tea cooperatives have sprung up like mushrooms, and there are as many as eight when they are prosperous, and Gan Zhouyuan exclusively occupies three, gradually forming a tea economy.

In the second year of the Qing Dynasty (1910), Gan Yijing and the shareholders founded the Hongji Tea Society, the headquarters of which is located in Siyi Road, Xinyang City. Cheyunshan tea was first sold in the "Tongsheng Sauce Garden" in Xinyang City, and later exported to Beijing, Tianjin, Bie, Luohe Hankou, Xi'an and other places, and won high praise, fame, and well-known at home and abroad. Represented China in winning the gold medal at the 1915 Panama International Exposition.

In the third year of the Qing Dynasty (1911), Gan Yijing founded the Yushen Tea Society. In the hilly area of Ganjiachong, Liulin Township, Liulin Township, Liuhe District, more than 30,000 nests (about 30 acres) of tea were planted in the hilly area with fertile land and abundant rainfall, and the influence gradually expanded. Gan JiaChong and the people in the vicinity have followed suit and opened the mountain to plant tea. The tea industry chain has greatly driven the local economic development of Xinyang.

During the Xinhai Revolution in 1911, Gan Yijing was radical in his thinking and participated in the overthrow of Qing rule. Yuan Shikai acted perversely and plotted to restore the imperial system. In 1913, Sun Yat-sen launched an armed campaign against Yuan, and after his failure, Sun fled to Japan. Gan Yijing was wanted by the Beiyang government for participating in Sun Yat-sen's "revolutionary party" activities to overthrow Yuan, so the factory and industry he operated were tragically closed, and he and his maternal uncle Dai Mou fled to the Shanghai foreign concession. Due to turbulence and hardships, on the fifth day of the fifth year of the Republic of China (1916), jia yin died of illness in the huning east station elder company hall, buried in the Shanghai Wanguo Cemetery, only 50 years old.

In order to commemorate Gan Yijing's contribution to the people of Xinyang, the Xinyang Municipal People's Government erected a bronze statue for him in the "Tea Rhyme" Square Park by the XunHe River to commemorate him.
