At the age of 13, she was favored by Jiaqing, and was not favored by the emperor for 25 years, and finally unfortunately died in the sea of fire

Under normal circumstances, the concubines of the Qing Dynasty will get a good death, and a few people may die unexpectedly, for example, there is a concubine in the harem of the Qianlong Dynasty, who fell into the water and died during the southern tour, and the one I want to talk about today is who died in a fire accident, she is the concubine of the Daoguang Harem.

At the age of 13, she was favored by Jiaqing, and was not favored by the emperor for 25 years, and finally unfortunately died in the sea of fire

Regarding the family lineage of Tian Concubine, there has been no record in the official historical records, but recently some scholars have found the origin of this concubine in an inscription entitled "Zha Qing Ah Inscription", it turns out that Tian Concubine came from the Manchurian Yellow Banner Fu Cha clan, is a descendant of Shi Ma Qi of Bohol Temple University, the grandfather is the punishment department member Wai Lang Mu Jing'an, and the father is Guangdong Supervision and Transportation Envoy, Zuo Qian Hubei Yanfa Wuchang Dao Cha Qing'a.

From the perspective of family lineage, this concubine is definitely a leader in the rich, and she and Empress Xiaoxian of the Qianlong Dynasty and Concubine Jin are from the same family.

As early as the fourth year of Jiaqing, Tian Concubine appeared in the court archives, when Tian Concubine's identity was "The Second Son of the Emperor", and the Second Son of the Emperor here refers to Jiaqing's second son Mianning, the later Daoguang Emperor. That is to say, Tian Concubine should have been favored by Jiaqing in the draft, and then given to Mianning as a side Fujin.

Until about thirteen years after Jiaqing, the title of Tian Concubine changed, when the official woman Huifa Nala clan around Mianning gave birth to the emperor's eldest grandson Yiwei, so she was given the title of Mianning Side Fujin, in order to distinguish between the two side Fujin, Tian Concubine changed her name to "Great Side Room Fujin", that is, the first side of Mianning Fujin.

After Daoguang succeeded to the throne, all his wives and concubines entered the palace as imperial concubines, and the Fucha clan of the "Great Lateral Fujin" was crowned as a concubine and lived with Dinggui in the Chengqian Palace. However, in the fifth year of Daoguang, Concubine Tian suddenly moved to yanxi palace, and it was obvious that Chengqian Palace welcomed a favored concubine, and she was Quanfei, that is, the later Empress Xiaoquan. Although Concubine Tian was born into a famous family, she was not favored by the Daoguang Emperor, so she had to move to the uninhabited Yanxi Palace.

Since then, the position of Tian Concubine has not changed until May of the twenty-fifth year of Daoguang, when a fire broke out in the Yanxi Palace, and soon the news of Tian Concubine's death came out of the palace. According to records, at that time, the Yanxi Palace was burned very badly, so it was very likely that the concubines would be seriously injured or directly burned to death by the fire.

Although Tian Concubine had not been favored by the emperor for 25 years, there were two doubts about her title.

First, in June of the eleventh year of Daoguang, the fourth son of the Emperor Yixuan washed the third, and the Qing Palace archives recorded that at that time, Tian Concubine would prepare the prepared items "Tian Peng", and Tian Concubine was never promoted to concubine, so why is it recorded here as Tian Concubine? Was it a clerical error, or did the Daoguang Emperor once make him a concubine?

Second, after the death of Tian Concubine, there was a related Manchu recital called "Noble Concubine Funeral Rites", and the recital actually called Tian Concubine as a noble concubine? Why? Is it because the concubine's family is prominent, or is it because of her high status in the palace? We don't know.

However, from the perspective of funeral specifications, Tian Concubine and Rong Concubine, who died in the sixth year of Daoguang, are the same, and the Daoguang Emperor did not order the resignation of the dynasty, which shows that in Daoguang's heart, Tian Concubine is not special.

In November of the 25th year of Daoguang, Tian Concubine was buried with Dinggui in the Xiling Tomb, and the burial site was Longquan Yufei Yamen, which was later Mu Dongling.
