Zhang Xiuwei and the participating experts jointly reminded that the age ≥ 40 years old, overweight and obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, sedentary lifestyle, diabetes family history, gestational diabetes history, macrosomia (birth weight ≥4Kg) fertility history, etc., with one of them, is the high-risk population of diabetes. Citizens aged 35-49 should actively participate in early screening for diabetes, early detection, early intervention, early treatment and standardized management.
