It is precisely under the guidance of such a spirit of the times that Li Zhenjun got up and went to Yan'an, so what kind of character is this Li Zhenjun?
Li Zhenjun was born in 1920 in Tuojiang Town, Fenghuang County, Hunan Province, and his family was quite good at that time, which was considered a family of scholars, so he received a good cultural education when he was a child.
When he was a student, Li Zhenjun was an incomparably enthusiastic patriotic youth, especially during the middle school period, Li Zhenjun began to make friends with many progressive people, and thus also read a large number of progressive books and periodicals, which slowly ignited the flame of Li Zhenjun's participation in the revolution.
As Yan'an at that time, to tell the truth, the Chinese people are unknown, no one knows, at this time Li Zhenjun's dream is also to go to Yan'an, fortunately, at that time Li Zhenjun's father and our party elder Xu Teli were classmates, so Li Zhenjun under the recommendation of Xu Teli, he embarked on the journey to Yan'an.
After arriving in Yan'an, Li Zhenjun was indeed stunned by the scene here, although the life in Yan'an was very bitter, but it allowed him to see the scene of vitality that had never been seen outside, the people here were equal and enthusiastic, and it was not long before Li Zhenjun entered the Northern Shaanxi Public School and the Yan'an KangDa to study.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Comrade Li Zhenjun successively served as the chief of the propaganda and education unit, the acting instructor of the brigade, and the deputy section chief of the organization section of the Political Department of the First Military Sub-district of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region.
Don't underestimate Li Zhenjun, he also fought with the Japanese army on the battlefield during the War of Resistance, during which he was unfortunately captured by the puppet army, fortunately, Li Zhenjun was not wearing the Eighth Route Army uniform at that time, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable, so Li Zhenjun was pulled to the northeast to do coolies, and it was not until 1943 that he escaped by chance.
In the War of Liberation, Comrade Li Zhenjun also made many contributions, that is, when he was the political commissar of the 96th Regiment of the 32nd Division, there was a soldier named Dong Cunrui in his unit at that time, Dong Cunrui did not need to introduce it, that was the combat hero of our army, for Dong Cunrui, Li Zhenjun was extremely appreciative, and later Dong Cunrui unfortunately died, Li Zhenjun spared no effort to publicize him, and called on the whole army to learn from Dong Cunrui.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Li Zhenjun also held many important positions, such as director of the political department of the 55th Army, deputy political commissar of the 47th Army, secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, president of Xiangtan University, and political commissar of the Armed Police Headquarters.
In 1955, Li Zhenjun was awarded the rank of founding colonel, and Li Zhenjun's wife was also very good, she was He Jiesheng, the daughter of He Long, who was a civilian major general of the People's Liberation Army; in addition, her mother-in-law was Comrade Jian Xianren, who was a revolutionary heroine of our party's "Mulan" style, and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, she served as deputy secretary general of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee.
On March 9, 2008, Comrade Li Zhenjun died in Beijing at the age of 88.
