People are always talking about when electric vehicles will completely replace fuel vehicles, in fact, whether it is acceptance or technological change, there is still a long way to go.
Electric vehicles have improved a bit in the past two years, but it does not affect the existence of traditional fuel vehicles. According to domestic statistics, the average replacement cycle is as fast as 3 years, and the mainstream cycle is 5-7 years. On the one hand, the car is still a single large piece second only to real estate in the eyes of the Chinese people, and the second-hand depreciation rate has become one of the measuring factors of polarization in the process of changing cars. It is also the battery decay and configuration variables that cause the depreciation of trams to be much higher than that of fuel vehicles, at least I will not consider starting electric transmission cars in these 3-5 years.
In addition to daily maintenance needs, fuel treasure and driving recorder are two additional commodities that car owners are more concerned about. The former is dubbed the "IQ tax", usually the price and quality are uneven, and it is too difficult to perceive the improvement experience in the sales pitch.
The advantages of the dashcam are real, and it is not too much to describe it as a "guard", and the evidence of recording at all times cannot be exchanged for money. Now the cameras on electric vehicles have also made the best use of their resources, and traditional fuel vehicles have begun to slowly add this function to high-end models.
As a traditional fuel vehicle owner, the dashcam can only be purchased separately. Think of the price and function of the year, and then look at the present, the installation is more beautiful to hide, parking and rear can achieve all-weather full-scene monitoring, clearer picture quality, richer functions, the key is that the price is still cheap.
Considering the need to hide the installation, the post-recording function became a just need. As can be seen from the screen size, the A400 is not a product with a large screen as a selling point. At the same time as the right price and lightweight positioning, the various functions of the pile make it still a set of quasi-flagship-level recorders.

Users who are not confident in their do-it-yourself ability or need to install a parking monitoring line (which requires access to an insurance box) can also be installed through a local auto repair service.
In terms of location selection, I chose the highest center position, which is hidden from both inside and outside the car. As an insensible experience, the recorder should diligently record the video of each model, looking like the screen is obscured in the driver's seat, but the recording booster light can still be seen from the reflective glass. For this reason, I turned off the screen display, anyway, there are electronic dogs, ADAS dual voice, real-time screen display is indeed not very rigid for me.

Compared to the "stiff" barrel recorder and mirror display recorder, I hate the cookie-cutter styling, compared to the A400 is obviously different. The top curvature is exactly as a fixed area, and the shape can be integrated with the front gear. The vertical placement of the screen and the bottom operation button, the lens adjustment is achieved by directly through the hand holding twist, the overall use logic is clear and easy to understand, and it is very easy to get started.
Front 5V/2A, rear 5V/0.5A, the whole machine integrated power supply 5V/2.4A. Mirco USB host interface coupled with low power consumption, connected to the charging treasure, to a certain extent also meets the needs of users who do not install parking monitoring, which can be praised.
A400 in-machine operation interface I think only the needs of switching hotspots, other settings, viewing videos, etc. can be operated through the APP. In addition to regular recording, A400 can still dig out a lot of fun features through the APP. Voice control, electronic dog, ADAS, time-lapse photography (time-lapse photography), etc. are all very practical just needed good features, especially time-lapse photography at 2K resolution can also be used as a Vlog to supplement the content, which is very interesting.
Before installation, I tested the barrel distortion correction and found that the deformation effect of the small target (display) was very prominent. After the installation of the driving test, observe the distortion again, because the whole environment is more complex and broad, so the overall distortion discomfort seems to be less obvious.
The 2.9K image quality of the A400 has reached a relatively high level in the recorder, the GIF diagram is just a demonstration, and the actual video is smooth and clear. In a 140-degree wide-angle lens, except for the blur of the most marginal license plate, more than 80% of the entire picture is clearly visible. When dynamic already the video stream is very high, in fact screenshots to see the license plate is also very easy.
If high resolution is the first step, then high dynamic range is a hard indicator that another recorder must achieve. Compared with the HDR that is often heard, WDR is more from the hardware level, I measured the two scenes of overexposure in bright areas and underexposure in dark environments, and the performance of the A400 is stable. Especially in the face of strong exposure, there will still be some "dead white" areas at the beginning, but the location is farther away, which does not affect the overall look and feel of the picture. The overall light-dark transition is not abrupt, very natural, and the level of backlight resistance is still good.
In the process of use, I adopted a one-minute recording setting, and the average file size reached 206~232MB and the average code stream was 30000kbps at a resolution of 2880*1620. The recorded sound is mono, and the bit rate is controlled at 64kbps, so the on or off sound has little impact on the file size, and more from privacy considerations.
The appearance of the 70Mi A400 is different from the appearance of many dull recorders, and there are more choices in color matching. In terms of performance, it is more "bucket", the hardware is basically indistinguishable from the big brother A800, and the algorithm belongs to the bricks and tiles. I actually measured ADAS still has a lot of room for improvement, because it is local material, so through the firmware only rely on the engineer unilateral change, the update speed is certainly not as good as the electric car, but expensive in privacy protection.
To say insufficient, the rear is more suitable for SUV models with rear wipers, the picture quality and effect and the front there is still a certain gap, look forward to the rear can also be updated synchronously, such as you can also join ADAS, you can do greater security.
