On the afternoon of January 15, on the eve of the Spring Festival, with all kinds of curiosity and doubts, more than 100 readers from all over Hainan came to the scene of the "Earth, Era, and Self: Han Shaogong's "Life Suddenly" Hainan Premiere Sharing Meeting" under the guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Hainan Provincial CPC Committee, sponsored by the Hainan Writers Association, and undertaken by Tianya Magazine, and gathered in the Sanhuan Shuyuan Reading Space in Haikou City to find answers to questions in the book "Life Suddenly" and in Han Shaogong's sharing and narration.

Han Shaogong successively served as the editor-in-chief of Hainan Chronicle Magazine, the president of Tianya Magazine, the chairman of the Hainan Writers Association, and the chairman of the Hainan Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature. "Life Suddenly" is its new collection of essays, which responds to the questions of the times, is known as the unique existence of contemporary Chinese literature, and is the benchmark of literature in the new era. The book is divided into three series, the first series "Reading the Earth", which contains wonderful narratives of everything such as nature, earth, society, life, and hometown; the second series, "Reading the Times", contains profound philosophical thoughts on the transition period of knowledge and economy, science and technology and value, history and culture, China and the world, countryside and cities; the third series, "Reading Yourself", contains the author's decades of life course, wisdom in the world, and the most authentic, affectionate and moving bits and pieces of the soul.
Xu Zhuangzhi, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial CPC Committee, talked about his feelings about reading Han Shaogong in his speech at the scene, saying that he began to read Han Shaogong's novel "Daddy and Daddy" and translated the novel "The Unbearable Lightness in Life" in the 1990s, and thanked Han Shaogong. First of all, on behalf of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the guiding unit of this sharing meeting, he thanked Han Shaogong for his contribution to the local literary cause as one of the historical pioneers of Hainan literature since the founding of the province, and as an important organizer of Hainan literature, Han Shaogong embodied noble character and the discipline of the literati; secondly, as an ordinary reader, he thanked Han Shaogong and praised Han Shaogong for his independent thinking and free spirit presented in the book "Life Suddenly". He hopes that Han Shaogong's thoughts and reflections can be shared by more Hainan readers and readers across the country.
In his speech, Mei Guoyun, chairman of the Provincial Writers Association, thanked Mr. Han Shaogong for publishing his new book, providing an opportunity for everyone to gather together to welcome the Spring Festival, thanking Comrade Xu Zhuangzhi, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, for his care and guidance, and at the same time thanking colleagues in the literary circles and the vast number of readers for their support. Jiang Zidan, an old comrade-in-arms and writer of Han Shaogong's literary circles, said that he felt the temperature of literature in Hainan after attending this sharing meeting. She said that Han Shaogong's creative energy is exuberant, and he is an evergreen tree with quality in the Chinese literary world, and he reads the earth, reads the times, has an interest in all new things, has an interest in research and the spirit of discussion, which is the basis for his advanced thinking. She believes that among writers, Han Shaogong is a thinker, and he has set an example that others cannot learn from with deep writing.
In his speech, the writer Kong Jian said that he did not comment on Han Shaogong from the perspective of literary history, but defined the value of Han Shaogong in terms of his awareness of the problems in reading. He believes that Han Shaogong's thoughts are beads, and once touched, it is particularly beneficial to read deeply. Liu Fusheng, dean of the College of Letters and critic of Hainan University, who has long read and studied Han Shaogong, said humorously that Han Shaogong seems to have crossed over, because Han Shaogong's ideological temperament and style of doing things are different from those of his contemporaries, which is embodied in Han Shaogong's attitude of infinite openness to the current situation of the times and the state of knowledge, without knowledge boundaries, understanding the knowledge of various disciplines, and embodying the encyclopedic spirit of curiosity. He believes that Han Shaogong's writing is both to understand the world and to change the world, and his identity is not only a writer, but also a thinker, sharing his observations and thinking results through various genres. He said that Han Shaogong's writing is writing in a broad sense, and all works are a whole, so he suggested that reading Han Shaogong's ideological prose first, and then reading the novel, you can suddenly be enlightened.
Scholar Shan Zhengping said that he attaches more importance to the "reading yourself" part of "Life Suddenly", he said that in his articles in this part, especially in Han Shaogong's early diaries, he read the traces of Han Shaogong's youth and peaceful mentality, and saw that Han Shaogong was a person with a heart when he was young, and when he wrote a diary, he regarded writing as a lifelong career.

Literary critic Ma Liang said that in his view, Han Shaogong's life experience is a big book, not wasting any period of life, in the eternal and change, Han Shaogong is always standing behind the work, using writing to deal with the flow of time, becoming an immortal sword.
