7.1GB/s high-speed reading! Is this the PS5 dedicated solid state?

Corsair today released the MP600 Pro LPX, an SSD designed specifically for the Sony PS5, with read speeds of up to 7.1GB/s, in line with the PS5's high-speed reading standard.

The MP600 Pro LPX uses PCIe 4.0 channels, has sequential write speeds of up to 5.8GB/s in addition to 7.1GB/s read speeds, and has a long service life, ensuring that over 5 years, the daily write volume is 0.38 (0.38 DWPD).

At present, Corsair has not yet announced the specific master control, flash memory and other specifications of mp600 Pro LPX.

However, due to the MP600 Pro XT of the same series as the MP600 Pro LPX, the PS5018-E18 master control of Qunhui is adopted, micron's 176-layer 3D TCL flash memory, and the MP600 Pro LPX is also likely to be this specification.

In terms of price, The Pirate Ship has not yet listed this SSD in China, but on the overseas official website, the 1TB version is priced at 184.99 US dollars (about 1176.54 yuan), and the 2TB version is priced at 369.99 US dollars (about 2353.14 yuan).
