Spurs are said to be unhappy with Arsenal's application for a postponement of Sunday's North London derby, but there is already precedent in the Premier League.

On Friday Dan Kilpatrick reported that Spurs had expressed concern about Arsenal's request for a match extension.
Since then, it has been confirmed that Arsenal are indeed in discussions with the Premier League about the decision to postpone the fixture schedule.
Many critics have been outraged by Arsenal's application for an extension as it is largely due to injuries and the Africa Cup of Nations rather than COVID-19 cases, but the Premier League once allowed Leicester City to postpone last week's match against Everton as one of the reasons for players to participate in the Africa Cup. And these commentators have said nothing about it.
Whatever Tottenham fans and others think, there is already precedent.
Having said that, the Premier League has previously rejected similar applications, such as Everton's 5-man covid-19 infection and 6 injuries before the Festival, but in the end they gave up their request to postpone the game.
Chelsea also suffered an application rejection in December, when seven of them contracted COVID-19 and applied for a postponement of the game against Wolves. That match was a 0-0 draw between the two teams.
But since then, we've seen multiple game postponements and no other rejections. Of course, apart from Arsenal's games against Brentford and Chelsea at the start of the season, when four and five were infected with the new crown, although there was some debate about whether Arsenal should play in these games.
According to the Premier League's rules for postponing matches, if the club is unable to assemble 14 players, the match will be postponed.
Assuming That Suarez, Smith Ronaldo, Kenyo Fuan and Kolasinac remain out of the squad due to injury, coupled with Erdegaard's positive coronavirus, the players who can play in Arsenal's 25-man Premier League squad (not counting the goalkeeper) include:
1. Chambers
2. Gabriel
3. Holden
4. Lacazette
5. Mali
6. Nketiah
7. Lokunga
8. Tierney
9. Ben White
We have to count the U21 players who have played first-team (excluding the third round of the FA Cup), namely Saka, Gabriel, Tavares and Pattino.
Azez has also made first-team appearances, but his recall from the loan side was not officially announced, so he may not be able to play.
Overall, this means arsenal have 13 players other than goalkeepers to play, which is not enough to postpone the game.
But if someone gets COVID-19, or if (say) Saka doesn't recover from the impact against Liverpool, arsenal can apply for an extension.
The current schedule is still in suspense.
