The Emblem Of the Nanyue King Museum of the Western Han Dynasty is called the world's first dragon and phoenix, and the exquisite artistic conception and meticulous craftsmanship show the artistic peak of jade making in the Han Dynasty.
The carved dragon and phoenix pattern heavy ring jade pendant is 10.6 cm in diameter, excavated from the right eye of the tomb owner, and carved from green and white jade (Figure 1).

The inner ring is carved with a swimming dragon, the S body is naturally twisted and agile, the muscles are strong, the four claws (the front and back limbs of the side) and the tail protrude out of the outer ring, and the tail also exaggeratedly extends the cirrus pattern, and the dragon's canopy is full of tension (Fig. 2).

The outer circle is carved with a standing phoenix, standing on the dragon's outstretched front paws.
Exaggerated phoenix crowns and wing feathers and tail feathers extend up and down into cirrus clouds, filling the outer circle space, and the phoenix sounds in the sky (Figure 3).
