Vice-President of Namibia: No troops will be sent to northern Mozambique for peacekeeping, but other assistance will be provided

According to Namibia's "New Times" reported on January 14, in response to the situation in the northern region of Mozambique, Namibian Vice President Mbemba said that although Namibia will not send troops to the northern part of Mozambique to maintain peace, there are many other ways to help, such as raising food, supplies and so on. Namibia has also pledged 5.8 million nanabytes of aid for peacekeeping efforts in northern Mozambique.
