According to the Global Times, the incident occurred in Kentucky, where a female prisoner accused 28-year-old prison guard Price of assaulting herself. It is reported that one day, the female prisoner suddenly felt unwell and needed to go to the hospital urgently, and Price, who was about to take the shift, was very active, saying that he would drive the woman to the hospital. However, according to the regulations, Price cannot escort prisoners alone.
At the local hospital, Price spent about 5 hours alone with the female prisoners, during which time he has been verbally harassing, teasing the female prisoners, and has been showing off his private relationship with the prison's officials in charge of parole, suggesting that he can help her get parole. Later, on the way back to the prison, Price was beastly, and regardless of whether the female prisoner agreed to the "deal" proposed by him, he directly stopped halfway and forcibly had a relationship with the female prisoner. At that time, the female prisoner was handcuffed and physically inferior to Price, so the resistance was unsuccessful.
Upon returning to prison, the women inmates filed a lawsuit against Price and some other derelict prison officials.
