The poisoning theory has always been very popular. Until 2008, Guangxu's special study on the causes of death published a report that used modern technology to detect that Guangxu's hair contained high concentrations of arsenic. Through multiple sampling tests, the factors of soil and the environment inside the coffin were excluded, that is to say, it can be determined that Guangxu died of arsenic poisoning.
