After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he returned to Yenching University, graduated in 1947, and starred in his first film and television work "The Great Reunion". Later, "Thunderstorm" and "The Crow and the Sparrow" made him a star loved by a generation of moviegoers. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he joined the Shanghai Film Studio and became a famous artist in the Shanghai film industry. He not only starred in films such as "Early Spring february", "The City That Never Sleeps", "Reconnaissance of Crossing the River", "Home", "A Game of Chess That Has Not Been Played", etc., but also wrote and directed his own works such as "Thunderstorm" and "Very Big President", creating many screen images with different styles and leaving a lot of artistic masterpieces for Chinese film galleries. He read many art books and accumulated creative materials at the same time, so after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he once again starred in the drama "Reunion" written by Huang Zongjiang, and was brought to the screen by Jinshan, and he starred as an intellectual youth full of fantasies.
