The bronze statue of Sun Daolin sits in the small garden of the Shangying Actors Troupe, bathed in the morning light, and the singing, laughter and discipline of the children in the kindergarten next door are heard behind it. This is a specially selected location for Tong Ruixin, the head of the Shangying Actors Troupe, where "Sun Daolin" can look up at the Wukang Building where he has lived for decades.
In 1953, Sun Daolin joined the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe as one of the first actors and witnessed the birth of the troupe; In 1961, he served as the deputy head of the troupe, and in the same year he was named the "22 Big Stars" of New China. "The teacher is like light, the light is far away, and the light emitted by Teacher Daolin has always influenced generations of filmmakers in Shangying. He is a benchmark for our troupe and a beacon for the troupe's young actors. Tong Ruixin introduced that the bronze statue was donated by Sun Qingyuan, the daughter of Sun Daolin. In the courtyard of the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe, the bronze statue of Sun Daolin is the wish of the actors of the troupe, "In the future, everyone will have more time to face this bronze statue, chat with him, bask in the sun with him, and imagine the future of the troupe with him." ”

Seeing the old artist Xiang Mei on crutches and worried that she would not be able to eat for a long time, Tong Ruixin helped her move a chair. The old artist Liang Boluo went to the bronze statue of Sun Daolin to recite the poem "When There Is No End of the Curtain", and saw that the lawn had a slope, and the young actors responsible for hosting Chen Long and Rong Zhuo rushed forward to help him.
