This morning, the huangpu district hydrogen fuel cell mud truck green low-carbon demonstration operation site kick-off meeting was held. The hydrogen fuel cell mud truck at the event site was officially unveiled and joined the construction site.
The 500 hydrogen fuel cell mud truck green and low-carbon demonstration operation project is the first batch and largest hydrogen fuel cell mud truck landing demonstration operation project in China, and it is also the first batch of such large-scale hydrogen energy heavy-duty vehicles put into operation nationwide after Guangdong Province was approved in August 2021. The project was procured by the district state-owned enterprise Science City (Guangzhou) Environmental Protection Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd., and the key parts of the vehicle were developed and produced in Huangpu District.
"The most core engine is the hydrogen fuel cell power generation technology, and the environmental protection effect is very obvious in the whole process." The on-site staff told reporters that the vehicle hydrogen filling time is only 8-15 minutes, and a hydrogen charge can travel more than 400 kilometers. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a swing arm type fully enclosed cover, which can effectively control residual mud leakage and dust pollution.
Huangpu District, as a strong industrial area, has a large number of projects under construction and a large volume, and the operation of hydrogen fuel cell mud trucks is of great significance for energy conservation and emission reduction, dust prevention and control and environmental protection. It is estimated that after 500 hydrogen fuel cell mud trucks are put into operation, they can reduce carbon emissions by 35,000 tons per year, reduce the emission of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides by 768 tons, promote the "zero emission" of environmental protection throughout the life cycle, and effectively solve the environmental pollution problems caused by fuel mud trucks.
The kick-off meeting was hosted by the Huangpu District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, and co-organized by Science City (Guangzhou) Environmental Protection Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Xiongchuan Hydrogen Energy Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.
