Reflecting the revolt of serfs in the Qing Dynasty, Sichuan Ganzi writers published a novel "Tibet Jiarong"

The novel is divided into two parts, nearly 800,000 words. The novel depicts the drought that occurred in the Qiongshan area of Badi (present-day Danba County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture) in the eleventh year of the Qing Dynasty (1885), and the people's livelihood was difficult. However, Béliram, the wife of Badi Tousi, not only did not help the victims, but intensified the cruel exploitation of the people. In the twelfth year of the Qing Dynasty (1886), thousands of Badi serfs led by Degam Kaburong revolted, overthrew the rule of the native women, abolished the Ula Chakra, averaged land wealth, and dealt a heavy blow to the brutal ruling class. Bai Liram absconded from the Arrow Furnace (Kangding, the capital of present-day Ganzi Prefecture), asked for help from Minzheng Tusi and the Qing army, and fought a bloody battle against the serfs and Qing forces, but finally failed because he was outnumbered and the uprising failed miserably.

This serf revolt, known in history as the "Qiongshan Rebellion" or the "Kalong Incident", was a serf uprising with great influence in history, and was recorded in the Chronicle of Ganzi Prefecture and the Chronicle of Danba County.

As a panoramic novel reflecting the serf revolt, the novel also excavates and rescues and comprehensively shows the unique history, culture and customs of the Jiarong Tibetan people, systematically explains the local history from ancient times to modern times, reveals for the first time some little-known secrets in history, and is a large encyclopedia of Tibetan history and culture.

The author of the novel, Jiarong Yundeng, is a member of the Ganzi Prefecture Writers Association, and his works have appeared in publications such as Reader, Nationality, and Gonggashan, and have been selected for the "Selection of Excellent Literary Works for the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of Kangzang and Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture", "Heavenly Pastoral Song and Kham Literary Newcomer Volume", and edited and published a number of "Kangding History and Culture Series". "Shouting for the times and establishing a biography for my hometown is my original mission, and it is also the meaning of writing this novel." Jiarong Yunden said.
