Born in 1951, Wanga is a villager in Qumei Village, Jianga Township, Dingjie County, Tibet.

From birth, Wanga, like his parents, has carried the identity of "Lang Sheng". As the lowest group of people in society, they have no means of production and no personal freedom, which is equivalent to the private property of the serf owners. Due to long-term heavy work, his father died in his 30s, and Wanga followed his mother to live.

In 1959, Tibet implemented democratic reforms, millions of serfs were completely liberated, and the life of the Wanga family ushered in the dawn. The Wanga family was given land, houses, cattle and sheep, and he went to primary school on his own, studied medicine after graduation, and became a village doctor in his hometown. Wanga, who is kind and helpful by nature, gets along well with the villagers and is recognized by everyone. Since then, Wanga has successively become the director of the village committee, the secretary of the village party branch, and was elected as a deputy to the Dingjie County People's Congress.

With frequent local wind and sand weather, Wanga fought for funds to lead the villagers to plant trees and afforestation, building a green barrier for local sand prevention and control, and the environment was greatly improved. On this basis, Wanga led the villagers to develop the village collective economy through cooperative organizations, and life became better and better. At present, the village has developed from the initial 18 households to the current 206 households, with a per capita annual income of more than 10,000 yuan.

"Without the Communist Party, there would be no good life for us now. Three generations of our family are all party members, and as party members, we must assume more responsibilities and obligations. Wanga said that if his parents could live until now, they would be very relieved to see their lives now.
