According to data from the Association of Automobile Manufacturers, FAW-Volkswagen sold a total of 1.77 million new cars in 2021, ranking first in annual sales, but down 15.7% year-on-year, and the decline was also the largest.

Not only that, Toyota's joint venture plant in Tianjin also began to stop production on Monday. FAW Toyota said that due to the impact of nucleic acid testing of all employees in the previous two days, its factory in Tianjin has suspended production and will resume operations as soon as possible. It is reported that the annual production capacity of the plant is 620,000 units.

According to the sales data released by FAW Toyota, FAW Toyota's annual sales volume in 2021 will be 860,000 vehicles, an increase of 8% compared with 2020.
