"Cold Gun Hero" Zou Xixiang: 206 bullets killed 203 enemies, more accurate than Zhang Taofang

"Sniper, stubborn temper" is the most direct experience zou Xixiang has given to his family, relatives and friends and next-door neighbors. "As long as he doesn't like it, he will get angry and even hit people." This is also Zou Xixiang in the seal of Zou Xixiang's nephew Zou Jun, who at first did not understand, but then he seemed to know his uncle better than everyone else, because only his uncle survived.

Zou Xixiang was born on April 24, 1922, in a village in Guizhou. At that time, his family was an ordinary farmer. In addition to farming for a living, he also hunted to improve his own life. His mom and dad basically used shotguns, so he also learned shotguns at the age of seven.

He learned the shotgun, and he was able to practice very well. Good observation, always able to notice small changes that others can't notice; physical strength, he has to wait for prey for a long time in harsh conditions; and his marksmanship is very accurate, and he can hit from a hundred meters away.

Later, Zou Xixiang joined the army and joined the revolutionary ranks. In 1950, he entered the DPRK with the army and was organized into 1 battalion and 1 company of the 135th regiment of the 45th Division of the 15th Army. Because of his high marksmanship, he was quickly appointed as a heavy machine gun platoon leader, leading a heavy machine gun platoon to participate in several battles and receiving many honors. In the fifth battle, Zou Xixiang received "second-class merit".

Zou Xixiang's army was stationed at Height 5377, just a hundred meters from the battlefield of the U.S. army, which was very dangerous, but this did not affect Zou Xixiang. Compared with Zhang Taofang, although Zhang Taofang killed the most enemies, Zou Xixiang was better at accuracy.

It is recorded that during the year in Shangganling, the 45th Army sniped a total of 5,064 enemies. Among them, Zou Xixiang and his comrades accounted for 3558 people, and he once shot 206 shots and killed 203 enemy people. This is not only a myth in the Battle of Shangganling, but also a myth in the history of China's resistance.

As a result, Zou Xixiang was recorded as a "first-class merit" and awarded the honor of "Sniper Hero". Kim Il Sung received him after the war, and North Korea awarded him a certificate of "second-class merit." Serving the country and returning to glory is the dream of soldiers. The massacre on the battlefield is also the last pain that the heroes are willing to mention, especially those who have sacrificed their old comrades.

Therefore, after Zou Xixiang retired home in March 1956, he rarely talked about the battlefield. His family only knew that he had been a soldier, but they did not know that he had contributed a lot. If it weren't for the visit of journalists later, his children and grandchildren would probably never have understood this.

After Returning to his hometown, Zou Xixiang took off his military uniform, but he still did not change his true character as a soldier. Since the hometown of Liyuan is located in a cold area, the land here has never been planted with rice. So the first thing he did when he came home was to buy rice in the northeast and plant it back. Although he was born as a farmer, he never learned about crop cultivation. As everyone knows, the most shocking thing is that under his constant experimentation and careful planting, rice was planted in the garden, and the locals finally ate their own rice.

Regrettably, Zou Xixiang has been in the army for many years and is scarred. He died in 1993 at the age of 71, probably due to excessive scars and poor medical conditions in the past. When the reporter first told his family that Zou Xixiang was a sniper, he had been dead for more than a decade. In other words, until Zou Xixiang's death, his family never really praised him, but always felt that this person was very shafty. This must be a very big flaw for the Zou family.

On the other hand, since Zou Xixiang did not mention it, he was definitely unwilling to recall the past. Therefore, having some flaws is not necessarily a bad thing.
