Bottas: Hamilton is improving every year and never being satisfied

Walteri Bottas believes Lewis Hamilton is still able to improve year over year in F1, which is an "impressive" feat given his experience.

Bottas left Mercedes at the end of last season after five years with the seven-time world champion, so he has first-hand experience of how the Briton works. It's no secret that the Finn can never fully beat his former team-mate in a season, saying he's seen where he can improve, but Hamilton is still able to get stronger at the beginning of each year, which makes It even harder for Bottas.

He said: "You know, what's really impressive about Lewis is that he improves every year, he has a lot of experience in F1 racing, but he always learns more and gets better and better. Of course, as a driver, I'm improving every year, but so is Lewis because he knows the competition is always getting fiercer. ”

After developing a good personal relationship with Hamilton, Bottas has now joined The Alpha Romeo team with the intention of becoming their captain and signing them on a multi-year contract.

He continued: "I did learn a lot from him, like driving technique, set-up technique, and a lot of little things, but impressively, he was still able to progress and was never satisfied. ”

Whether Hamilton will play in F1 in 2022 remains questionable, and he did not give any interviews or make any comments on social media after the 2021 season finale.
