Kiev, 12 Jan (Xinhua) -- According to the official website of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy met in Kiev on 11 January with the German Chancellor's foreign and security policy adviser and the French President's foreign policy adviser, and the parties exchanged views on the situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border and the resumption of the "Normandy model" four-nation summit aimed at resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
Zelenskiy stressed that "it is now necessary to reach agreement on substantive measures to end the conflict" and that the Ukrainian side is ready to make "necessary decisions" on this at the next "Normandy model" summit. (End)
