Ten years ago
An emerald agave in the Sand Plant Hall of Chenshan Botanical Garden blooms
The total length of the inflorescence is 3.9 meters, and the scenery is unlimited
Attracted many tourists to stop and take photos
Ten years later
Another emerald-plated agave at the entrance to the Sand Plant Museum is ready to go
Once again, a fiery "hymn to life" is staged for tourists

At present, this agave has bloomed half of the flowers
The length of the inflorescence is about 2.5 meters
It has entered the best flower viewing period
The flowering period will last about 2 weeks
The full inflorescence of the emerald plate agave begins to curve from the middle, like the neck of a swan, noble and elegant. As we all know, agave only blooms once in a lifetime, because its native environment is relatively arid and hot, and its inflorescence is extended as much as possible to stay away from the hot ground, so that the process of pollination and reproduction can be carried out at a high place, but at the same time, the agave will also exhaust the "strength" it has accumulated for many years to support this tall, stout "flower of hope". As the inflorescence grows from prosperity to decline, the leaves of the agave continue to shrink and dry up, as if a joyful feast is finally dispersed, and there is always a separation.
According to the green maintenance workers
Under normal circumstances, emerald plate agaves take 8-10 years to flower
Don't miss such a grand occasion
