At 0-24:00 on January 11, Shaanxi reported 8 new locally confirmed cases (all in Xi'an City, found in isolation and control), and 125 cases were cured and discharged from hospital.
Since December 9, 2021, the province has reported a cumulative total of 2,052 locally confirmed cases (2,025 in Xi'an, 13 in Xianyang, 13 in Yan'an, and 1 in Weinan), of which 551 were discharged from hospital and 1,501 were hospitalized.
At 0-24:00 on January 11, 6 confirmed cases imported from abroad were cured and discharged from hospital, and 2 asymptomatic infected people were released from isolation.
Locally confirmed case 1, male, 23 years old, currently residing in Yanliang District, Xi'an City. There were confirmed cases in the living area, they were isolated on December 27, and on January 11, they tested positive for nucleic acid and were diagnosed as confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia (mild) by a municipal expert group.
The local confirmed case 2, female, 8 years old, currently residing in Xi'an High-tech Zone, is a close contact of the local confirmed case 14 released on January 2. He was isolated on 5 January, tested positive for nucleic acid on 11 January, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild) by a municipal expert group.
The local confirmed case is 3, male, 66 years old, currently residing in Chang'an District, Xi'an. As a key person in isolation on January 11, the nucleic acid test result was positive, and it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia (mild) by the municipal expert group.
Locally confirmed case 4, female, 53 years old, currently residing in Yanta District, Xi'an City, is a close contact of local confirmed case 4 released on 9 January. He was isolated on 8 January, tested positive for nucleic acid on 11 January, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case (mild) of COVID-19 by a municipal expert group.
Locally confirmed case 5, male, 28 years old, currently residing in Yanta District, Xi'an City, is a close contact of the local confirmed case 110 released on 31 December. He was isolated on 31 December, tested positive for nucleic acid on 11 January, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild) by a municipal expert group.
The local confirmed case is 6, male, 48 years old, currently residing in Chang'an District, Xi'an. There were confirmed cases in the work area, they were isolated on 28 December, and on 11 January, they tested positive for nucleic acid and were diagnosed as confirmed cases of COVID-19 (mild) by a municipal expert group.
The local confirmed case 7, female, 7 months, currently residing in Xi'an High-tech Zone, is a close contact of the local confirmed case 36 released on January 6. He was isolated on 5 January, tested positive for nucleic acid on 11 January, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild) by a municipal expert group.
The local confirmed case 8, male, 67 years old, currently residing in Yanta District, Xi'an City, is a close contact of the local confirmed case 16 released on January 4. He was isolated on 4 January, tested positive for nucleic acid on 11 January, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild) by a municipal expert group.
The above local confirmed cases are isolated and treated in designated medical institutions, and the specific activity trajectory is released by Xi'an City.
As of 24:00 on January 11, a total of 2,315 locally confirmed cases (1,501 cases in hospital, 811 cases discharged from hospital, and 3 deaths) were reported.
As of 24:00 on January 11, a total of 483 confirmed cases imported from abroad were reported, of which 474 were discharged from the hospital and 9 were hospitalized. A total of 448 cases of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad have been reported, 59 cases have been converted into confirmed cases, 384 cases have been released from medical observation, and 5 asymptomatic infected people are still under medical observation.
