It is worth noting that in the delivery report card of 936,000 vehicles in 2021 that Tesla just released, Tesla China alone accounted for 51.7%, occupying half of its global territory.
Among them, the Shanghai Gigafactory contributed more than 160,000 units to the off-sea market delivery, meeting the needs of more than 10 countries such as Europe and Asia, and the export volume of the Model 3 alone in 2021 has exceeded 130,000 units.
At the same time, Model Y, as a new force that only opened deliveries in the Chinese market in 2021, broke through the market size of 200,000 vehicles in just one year, and reached the top of the first camp of luxury SUVs with the results of 200131 deliveries.
In 2021, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory delivered a total of 484,100 vehicles to the global market, while in 2020, Tesla delivered 499,500 vehicles worldwide. In other words, the Shanghai Gigafactory single-handedly contributed to Tesla's global deliveries in 2020.
This year is the second year of Tesla's "gigafactory" in Shanghai, Tesla has achieved a "small goal" of 235% year-on-year sales growth in China with only two models, and Tesla's global delivery has also achieved an annualized growth of 87.4%. From this point of view, Musk's rhetoric of "selling 20 million vehicles in 2030" will also become a magnificent reality in the future not far away.
