59th Venice Biennale – The Milk of Dreams
The Venice Biennale took place on 23 April 2022 under the theme "The Milk of Dreams", with Cecilia Alemani as the chief curator. The Venice Biennale, which hosts the most important artistic events in Europe, features contemporary art and architecture.
The exhibition is named after the Mexican surrealist artist Leonora Carrington (1917-2011) whose hand-painted children's book Milk of Dreams.
