At the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022, a number of new lidar products were unveiled, showing breakthroughs in new technologies, such as Continental's HRL131 long-range lidar, Valeo's third-generation lidar and close-range lidar.
According to the data of Tianyancha, there are currently more than 2800 lidar-related enterprises in China. Among them, more than 1170 related enterprises were established within 5 years, accounting for 41.4%.
From the perspective of regional distribution, the five provinces with the largest number of lidar-related enterprise registrations are Guangdong, Jiangsu, Beijing, Shanghai and Zhejiang, with a total of more than 1,500, accounting for about 56%.
From the perspective of patent release, the domestic lidar head enterprises Hesai Technology, Radium God Intelligence, Beixing Photon, Digital Green Soil and Flying Core Electronics all have more than 100 pieces of lidar patent information.
In addition, according to incomplete statistics from Tianyan, more than 140 financing incidents in the field of lidar have occurred since 2013, and the total amount of financing has exceeded 23 billion yuan. In 2021, there were a total of 25 financing events, with an amount of more than 14 billion yuan.
