As the old saying goes: One man attains the Tao, and the chicken and the dog ascend to heaven. The achievements of a big man can have a great impact on the people around him.
In ancient China, there were stories of Han Xin eating a thousand dollars and Liu Bang returning to his hometown to exempt himself from taxes in his hometown. Generally speaking, successful people like to return to their hometowns and like to show their generosity to acquaintances.
And those who receive favors take these for granted over time.
And the protagonist of the story we are telling today is a big man who favors the townspeople.
In particular, he was an emperor.

Chinese Emperor Marsh
Thailand is a country that Chinese now loves to go to, because of Thailand's unique tropical style and the large number of Buddhist relics that have been preserved, Thailand's tourism resources are very developed.
Bangkok is the largest city in Thailand and the capital of Thailand, known as the "Capital of Buddhism". In Thonburi Square in Bangkok, stands a monument to Taksin Taksin.
Thais hold a grand celebration every year on December 28, as it was once the day their great King TakSerSer Taksin ascended the throne. TakSr Darshasin has a lofty status in Thailand and is deeply loved by the people.
Emperor Taksin was the king of the Thonburi Dynasty of Thailand, also known as Thonburi the Great. Why does this Thai king have a Zheng character in his name?
Because he's Chinese.
Marsh's life is legendary, and he is also the first Chinese descendant to claim the title of emperor overseas. This should also be regarded as a person who has never come before or after the ancients.
Because Marsh is a folk emperor, there are many legends of this emperor in Thailand.
And when It comes to Daxin, it is impossible to avoid his father Zheng Di.
During the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China, there was a Shoucheng emperor like Sun Quan, and his father and brother left themselves such a large territory as Jiangdong, and becoming emperor himself was just a matter of pushing the boat along the water.
However, Marsh's father, Zheng Di, was a poor egg when he was young.
From the bodyguard to the king
Zheng Di was born into a difficult family in Huafu Village, Chenghai City, Guangdong Province, and at that time, due to the Qing government's basic national policy of closing the country to the outside world, the life of the people along the coast was difficult.
In order to escape the oppression of the sea ban policy, many locals fled overseas to seek a living. Zheng Di is one of these "sea troops".
When he arrived in Thailand, Zheng Di settled in the large city of Ayutthaya, where he lived in Thailand, and through his wisdom, he gradually gained a foothold in Thailand, did a good job, and was knighted as "Kun Pai".
Zheng was active in dealing with bureaucrats in Thailand, and later met and became friends with the then Chancellor of the Exchequer, Chao Phraya Jieji.
Zheng Di, who was overseas, established his own business, but he knew that he could not return to his hometown, so he took a Siamese woman as his wife and gave birth to a son.
This was the later Emperor Marsh.
Unfortunately, shortly after Marsh's birth, Zheng Died.
Fortunately, after learning that his friend died unexpectedly, leaving a pair of orphans and widows, he adopted Zheng Di's son.
Cho Phraya was kind to his adopted son, Marsh, and offered him the best education in Thailand. Growing up, Darshade served as a guard at the Thai Royal Palace, equivalent to the ancient Chinese "Zhi Jinwu", with a bright future.
Later, Marsh became an inspector, equivalent to a central commissioner, and accepted the emperor's orders to inspect the people everywhere. Marsh of this period had already demonstrated remarkable political talent.
Marsh worked diligently in his own office, defended the interests of the people, adjudicated many cases, and gradually won the support of many people.
Because of Marsh's good political performance, he was promoted to the rank of Adjutant of Dacheng and assisted the lord of Dacheng in handling legal affairs. After the death of the Old City Lord, he successfully succeeded him as the Lord of Dacheng.
By this time, Marsh had accumulated deep political experience and had become a vassal in Thailand. He needed a chance to take him to the next level.
It was the Ayutthaya dynasty in Thai history. One year, the king of Burma asked the king of Thailand for land on the border. After being rejected, the Burmese king gathered a large army and launched a war of aggression against Thailand.
At that time, Burma's national strength was slightly stronger, and Thailand's military strength was slightly weaker. So under the strong offensive of Thailand, the Thai army was gradually defeated and retreated, and was beaten by the enemy to the root of the imperial city.
At this moment of 100,000 fires, Darsin was ordered to participate in the defensive battle of the capital city. Thanks to the efforts of the parties to cooperate, they temporarily repelled the Burmese army.
However, the Burmese king was furious after the defeat and once again led the national army to attack Thailand. Because the attack was too strong, the Ayutthaya dynasty collapsed. Marsh then actively gathered rebels along the coast to fight against Burma.
Overwhelmed by the victory, the Burmese king turned to war, attacking the Qing dynasty's territory in Yunnan and Guangdong at the time. The Qianlong Emperor at that time was completely angered by the Burmese provocation and immediately sent elite troops of the Qing Dynasty to counterattack Burma.
In the face of the powerful Qing dynasty army, the Burmese army collapsed in an instant. Word of the disappearance of the defeat ahead reached Thailand, which had become a vassal state, and Marsh, who was still resisting, knew that the opportunity had come.
So Marsh first unified the various parts of the southeast coast, and then united with the troops of other regions to defeat the Burmese garrison six months later.
A year later, Marsh led his men to restore thailand's capital, today's Ayutthaya. As the capital was dilapidated, Marsh established a new capital in Thonburi. They successively eliminated other separatist forces and unified the whole country.
Thanks to Marsh's efforts, Thailand reached the heyday of the Ayutthaya dynasty. Because of his martial arts, he not only defeated the engulfing Burma again, but also conquered parts of Cambodia and other territories.
The emperor sends "pickles"
Due to Marsh's legend, there are many stories of Marsh, including a "18-cylinder pickle" story.
It is said that after hearing that Marsh had become emperor in Thailand, his relatives in China asked him to come and "fight the autumn wind" and congratulated Marsh on his ascension to the throne.
Marsh entertained his father and fellow villagers well, sent 18 cylinders to them on the eve of their departure, and ordered that the lid should be opened only after returning to the hometown.
After arriving at the boat, the townspeople couldn't help but secret it, opened it, and found that it was actually pickles! They were indignant, thinking that the emperor was so stingy, he threw 17 cylinders at sea, leaving only one cylinder as a souvenir.
Unexpectedly, after they returned to their hometown, they poured out the pickles and found that the pickles only had one upper layer, and all the gold and silver treasures below! It turned out that Marsh was afraid that they would encounter an accident at sea, so he took a pickle jar to hide his eyes.
This story highlights Marsh's ingenuity and satirizes those who are hungry for profit. Sometimes what you see in front of you may not be the whole thing, only by sinking your heart can you realize the truth of the matter!
