Most of Zhou Zhongju's paintings are mainly based on brushwork and ink painting, the lines are natural and smooth, exquisite and delicate, most of the content of the works originates from life, through a pair of eyes that are good at discovering beauty and artistic passion, the bits and pieces of life are integrated into the paintings, which not only highlights the regional culture and folk culture, but also outlines the great changes that have taken place in people's lives, praises the new era, and transmits positive energy.
Zhou Zhongju, Shanxi Wenxiren, is a member of the China Artists Association, the China Women Painters Association, the Shanxi Provincial Artists Association, the vice chairman of the Yongji Artists Association, and the Master of Fine Arts of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.
Zhou Zhongju: I officially embarked on the road of painting since 2010. During this period, through graduate school and study at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, I learned some more traditional and formal academic painting styles, and began to create the National Exhibition in 2017, creating more than a dozen very large works in three years. Most of these works come from life, and they find bits and pieces from life.
Creative Inspiration:
In the creation of the National Exhibition in recent years, I went from not knowing anything at first, to slowly turning small drafts into large works under the guidance of teachers, and here I am very grateful to Teacher Wang Jingwen, without her guidance and help, I would not have had such good results. I share my superficial knowledge and experience with every art-loving friend and encourage you together.
First: the choice of subject matter
On the big platform of the National Exhibition, the choice of theme is crucial. We must choose the people and things around us, sing the praises of the new era, and transmit positive energy. The subject matter of my three figure paintings comes from the accumulation of daily life. For example, "On the Road. fine. "Delicious" shows the hard work of the takeaway brother who insists on working in the cold and freezing, and contains the happiness of people waiting for takeaway to enjoy delicious happiness in the cold. "Chinese Year" depicts the traditional Chinese the scene of the New Year, festive, lively, and full of happiness!
Second: the way it is expressed
With good ideas, ideas, and themes, how to express them is the key! Under the guidance of the teacher, I understood that painting should be fully devoted, respect my subjective feelings, paint works that shock people's hearts with emotion and strength, and try to express this kind of thinking.
