Apple: A total of $60 billion will be paid to developers in 2021

According to Sina Technology news, Apple said on Monday that it paid a total of $60 billion to developers in 2021, and a total of $260 billion since the launch of the Apple App Store App Store in 2008, indicating that App Store sales continue to grow rapidly.

Apple pays developers 70 to 85 percent of its total App Store revenue, with App Store sales accounting for 15 to 30 percent of app digital purchase sales.

By comparison, Apple said in 2019 that it had paid developers a total of $155 billion since 2008. By the end of 2020, it said it had paid $200 billion, an increase of $45 billion. Monday's data showed an increase of $60 billion.

Apple said it currently has 745 million paid subscriptions, including services offered by Apple such as Apple Music and iCloud, up from 700 million last summer.
