Reporter: After Umtiti's salary cut, both Gavi and Nico can register in the first team

According to reporter Gerard Romero, Umtiti's salary cut has allowed Nico and Garvey to register in the first team after the renewal of their contracts.

Barca renewed their contract with French centre-back Umtiti until 2026 on Monday, a move aimed at lowering the team's total salary and registering Ferran Torres.

Umtiti is not in Barca's plans, they are working to rent it out and there are currently multiple Ligue 1 teams watching Umtiti.
