This year, Le Gavelin presents two island festival wines, one of which is Lagavulin Fèis Ìle 2024 10-Year-Old, matured in refill, heavily charred and first fill ex-bourbon American oak hogshead casks, aged 10 years and 56.7% ABV, with a capacity of 700ml and a bottle capacity of 1800 bottles. Starting from 2024-05-25, it will be sold at Le Gavelin Distillery at an official price of £175, which is about 1,590 yuan at the current exchange rate.
The other is the Lagavulin Skies of Fèis Ìle 29-Year Old, finished in a heavily charred Amoroso-seasoned American Oak hogshead cask, 29 years old, alcohol content TBD, 700ml, 250 bottles. The official selling price is £2,500, which is about 22,750 yuan at the current exchange rate. It will be sold on 2024-05-25 exclusively at the Le Gavelin distillery, and there is no other way to sell it.
This year's Caol Ila Fèis Ìle 2024 13-Year-Old, finished in ex-Ruby Port French Oak casks sourced from the Douro Valley in Portuga, 13 years old, 54.5% ABV, The capacity is 700ml and the bottling capacity is 1404 bottles. From 2024-05-27, it will be sold at the Karlila Distillery at an official price of £185, which is about 1,685 yuan at the current exchange rate.
