Founded in 1898, BenRiach Distillery in Speyside, Scotland, has a history of more than 120 years and is now part of the Brown-Forman Group in Kentucky.
In May 2024, Benriach launched a new whisky – Benriach 1966 Cask Aged 50 Years (B50). Created by Rachel Barrie, Master Blender of Benliac, it was distilled on 21 September 1966 and matured in Bourbon Cask casks with cask number 2383 at 50 years old, making it the oldest of all the official bottled whisky bottles in Bengliac to date. It has an alcohol content of 44.5% ABV, a capacity of 700ml and a bottle size of 37 bottles.

Rich oak aromas are intertwined with chestnut, black cherry wine and soft acacia nectar, accompanied by tempting truffles, daffodils and delicate musks.
Tasting:
Dates and delicate oak spices are intertwined with the length and delicacy of apples, the freshness of pears and a hint of freshness of grapefruit, creating a harmonious and unique taste.
The B50 is presented in custom-made Glasstorm crystal bottles, each carefully housed in a box made by master craftsman John Galvin, inspired by the colourful and stylistic casks displayed in the Bengliac wine cellars.
The wine is now available at select high-end retailers around the world, with five bottles to be sold in travel retail channels at an official suggested retail price of £25,000, or about RMB226,700 at the current exchange rate.
