According to the Italian media market reports, Inter is likely to buy out Joaquin Correa next month, as long as they get a league point after February 2 to trigger the buyout clause.
Correa joined Inter from Lazio on loan last summer and Inter have a mandatory right to buy. It is reported that the agreement between Inter and Lazio is that inter can trigger a buyout agreement after 2 February when inter get their first point.
He has signed a contract until 2024 and will soon complete a permanent transfer with Inter. Correa made 14 appearances in Serie A this season, contributing 4 goals and 1 assist.
Correa was linked to Arsenal and Everton last summer, but he revealed inter had always been his first choice and eventually joined Inter on loan + buyout, reuniting with Inzaghi Jr.
