In the painting, before the Hanlin scholar was released from Jiangsu Province, he asked a painter from Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, to paint this portrait for himself, and after returning to Beijing after his term of office, he hung this portrait in the duty room of the South Study. The painter's name was Miao Bingtai (1744~1807), a cloth-clad commoner, with characters like Xian, a character Jitang, born in the Qianlong period. He has a talent for art, and from an early age he was able to paint very good portraits without a teacher.

Hearing the "Eight Hundred Riga Urgent Order", Hanlin Scholar played with trepidation, "Miao Someone is only a cloth cloth, and I am afraid that he will not be able to be enshrined in the inner court." Qianlong immediately ordered Miao Bingtai to be rewarded as a person.

Another painter in the Qianlong Imperial Palace, Lang Shining

Lang Shining (born in 1688, 27th year of the Qing Kangxi Dynasty) was from Milan, Italy, and was known as the "first Western painter" of the Qing Dynasty. Legend has it that he entered the studio of a famous painter at the age of five to learn to paint, and at the age of six began to work in the studio, grinding colors, imitating his teacher's paintings, and copying paintings collected in Milan. At the age of 26, while living in Lisbon and Coimbra, Portugal, he gradually became quite interested in China, and came to China at the age of 27 to study Chinese in Macau and use the Chinese name "Lang Shining". It was the fifty-fourth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, and the Kangxi Emperor summoned Lang Shining into the palace as an artist to become a court painter.
From his infancy to his youth, Lang Shining has been trained in systematic and good painting, is well versed in anatomy, and his famous dog image is accurate and conveying. He uses small brushstrokes to express the texture of animal fur, making the famous dogs in the painting shiny and vivid, jumping on the paper.
Where is it said that "ten dogs and ten beauty"? Now you can meet ten dogs everywhere on the road, but the loyal dogs that stand out are rare treasures. In the Qing Dynasty, outstanding dogs and dogs were gathered in the imperial garden of the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. No wonder the Qianlong Emperor gave himself a blessing in his later years- the Old Man of The Ten Perfections, which is also a foreign word.
The Qing Dynasty has passed, and the prosperous world of Kangqian has also passed, where to find "ten dogs and ten beauty"? Fortunately, the court painters of the Qing Dynasty left the "Ten Dogs and Ten Beauty" behind. In the Palace of the Qianlong Emperor, Lang Shining from Italy presented the "Ten Horse Dog Diagram", and Ai Qimeng from Bohemia presented the "Ten Beautiful Pictures", and the ten dogs and ten beauty were connected and exhibited. The Qianlong Emperor was very fond of these dog drawings, and when he admired the paintings, he stamped them with a connoisseur seal and combined the "Ten Dogs" and the "Flower Book" into one, entitled "Perfect and Ten Beautiful" pictures.

The title of "Ten Dogs" is written in Chinese, Manchu, and Mongolian characters, and the names of the animals are also recorded with the names and titles of the devotees, showing the origins of the Qing court and the relationship with envoys and officials stationed abroad, which has also become a historical document.
In the garden, flower trees and slope stones in the ten dog paintings, these Garden Scenes of Chinese Painting style are from the hands of Chinese court painters.
