The "big mountain" that she has been carrying for 40 years has finally been unloaded, and Aunt Nuzeng from Tibet is particularly happy, and on January 10, she will be discharged from the hospital and embark on a journey back to Tibet from Shanghai.
On January 9, the surging news reporter learned from the Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University that in November 2021, Tsering Dolma, head of the medical education section of the Sakya County People's Hospital in Tibet, sent several photos to Zhang Haichen, a doctor who aided Tibet, through WeChat, showing a woman with a huge lump on her back and a visual estimate of at least a dozen pounds.

The patient is 59-year-old Tibetan AmaNuzen. The photograph shows the lump on Nuzeng's back hanging down like a huge burden, in stark contrast to the patient's emaciated body. The good news is that the lump is so big, it should not be malignant.
The Shanghai doctor further learned that Nuzeng Mama's lump has grown for forty years, and the Mula Township where she is located has an average altitude of more than 4500 meters, which is the highest altitude and the most inconvenient township in Sakya County, and she has not received formal treatment due to medical conditions, economic conditions, transportation and other reasons. For decades, when in pain, Nu Zeng would go to the township health center to hang needles, but it has not been cured.
After that, Zhang Haichen, a doctor who aided Tibet, gave feedback to the Xuhui District Central Hospital of the Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, and after ct examination of the local municipal hospital and remote consultation with Shanghai doctors, the preliminary conclusion was that Nu Zeng had a huge lipoma on his back.
On December 8, Nuzeng embarked on a train from Lhasa to Shanghai, the first time she left Shigatse and took a train. After arriving in Shanghai, he was successfully admitted to the Department of General Surgery of Xuhui District Central Hospital.
Immediately afterward, the multidisciplinary team of experts from Xuhui District Central Hospital conducted MDT rounds for Nuzeng and conducted a comprehensive and systematic full body examination.

Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital and the expert team of Xuhui District Central Hospital jointly formulated a diagnosis and treatment plan for NuZeng to first intervene in embolization of the huge tumor in the back to supply blood vessels to reduce bleeding, and then perform general anesthesia surgery.
On December 20, Nu Zeng performed a back lump-nourishing vascular embolization at Zhongshan Hospital by a team of interventional specialists. During the operation, it was found that the blood supply to the tumor body originated from the thyroid trunk branch of the left substernal artery and the rib-neck branch of the right subclavian artery.
On December 21, Professor of Plastic Surgery of Zhongshan Hospital, Qi Fazhi, and Professor of General Surgery Liu Houbao, jointly took the lead knife, escorted by the Department of Anesthesiology and Nursing Department, to successfully complete the resection of nuzeng's huge tumor in the back of Nuzeng in two and a half hours.
During the operation, the patient's vital signs were stable, the amount of bleeding was about 100ml, and the postoperative measurement found that the size of the mass was about 57 * 43cm, and the weight was about 11.4kg, accounting for 22% of the patient's body weight. After the operation, the patient returned safely to the ward and was able to walk on the ground the next day.
