Sanyan history and culture is an important part of chaoyang city's thick history and culture. Many historical and cultural and archaeologists have done a lot of work and useful discussions on the history and culture of Sanyan and achieved fruitful results. As a systematic project, the history and culture of the Three Yans still need to be studied in depth, such as where were the four counties built during the Murong Hui period? In order to solve this problem, the "Department of History and Culture" of Chaoyang Aggregate Social Work Volunteer Service Center formed a research group to visit relevant locations. The inspection was led by Chairman Tong Tiedong, Vice Chairman and Secretary General Zhou Baoyin, Minister of History and Culture Zhang Lili, Vice Minister Yang Hongwei, and Director of the Project Department Du Yuanyuan as members. Zhou Yali and Li Jiabin, cultural experts of Sanyan in our city, were specially invited to join the inspection team.

On the afternoon of January 5, seven members of the inspection team accompanied by the "center" Chen Baolin, director Meng Qingchao and the village director went to the site of Anjianzi Ancient City. The city site is located 4 kilometers southwest of Lingyuan County, on the flat terrace under Jiutou Mountain on the south bank of the Daling River, an irregular north-south rectangular ancient city, 150 meters to 328 meters long from north to south, and 200 meters to 230 meters wide from east to west. The ancient city is surrounded by mountains on three sides, facing the river in the north, the terrain is open, the Daling River flows from west to east through the north of the ancient city, this place is the throat of ancient north-south traffic, the strategic position is very important, as early as the xiajiadian upper culture period has formed a village. In the Warring States period, it gradually developed and flourished due to the setting of Right Beiping County. During the Western Han Dynasty, due to the conquest of the Xiongnu, the area around Lingyuan Anjianzi became an important town for military transportation. Excavated from this city site have unearthed relics of the upper culture of Xiajiadian, the Warring States, and the Western Han Dynasty. In particular, the excavation of the Nineteen Fangs of the Han Dynasty Sealing Mud can confirm that the ancient city of An Canzi belongs to the jurisdiction of the Right Beiping County of the Western Han Dynasty, and archaeologists believe that the site of the ancient city of An Cane zi should be Shicheng County of Right Beiping County. Tong Tiedong and Zhou Yali said: This inspection can conclude that the site of Lingyuan Anjianzi City is not the site of the Pinggang County Administration of the Han Dynasty, let alone one of the qiao counties in Murong Xi's period, which excludes a location for us to find qiao county.
On the morning of the 6th, the inspection activities of the research group were strongly supported by Ma Jinglu, director of the Ningcheng County Cultural Relics Protection Center. Director Zhu Yaoguo personally accompanied him to examine the site of the ancient city of Heicheng. The site is located in the southwest of the county seat of Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia, 60 kilometers away, near the boundary of Pingquan County, and is an adjacent area of Zhaowuda League and Hebei Province. The terrain in this area is high-pitched and undulating, but in the alpine valley, the ground near the village of Heicheng is very flat, so there is a village named after "Dianzi". This ancient city consists of Flower City, Black City and Wailuo City. The research group visited the black city this time. The black city plan is also rectangular, with an east-west length of 810 meters and a north-south length of 540 meters. The city has four gates, and the urn city is built outside the gate. The outer side of the city wall is built with horse faces, four corners and corner platforms; The horse noodles and corner platforms are higher than the city walls. Outside the city walls there is a moat around the city. According to the cultural relics produced at the site, archaeologists believe that this ancient city site (including Huacheng, Heicheng, and Wailuocheng) was created or rebuilt in the long historical period of the Warring States, the Western Han Dynasty, and the Liao Dynasty until the Ming Dynasty. Outside the Black City, the line identified archaeologists as Right Beiping County and its seat of government, Hiraoka County.
The history and culture of Sanyan have lasted for thousands of years, and the "research project" launched by the Chaoyang Juju and Social Work Volunteer Service Center will surely make the excellent history and culture with deep precipitation continue to carry forward. We must excavate, protect, study and make good use of the rich historical and cultural heritage of Sanyan history and culture to benefit the people of Chaoyang.
