Liu Chunfeng is a peer of the Republic of China and one of the earliest members to join the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the Hebei Provincial Artists Association after the reform and opening up. For decades, Liu Chunfeng has been working on calligraphy and seal engraving, and his works are full of the thickness and distinctive agility given by the years.

Speaking of his association with art, it dates back to Liu Chunfeng's childhood, when he had a strong interest in calligraphy, painting and seal engraving. When he was in junior high school, he was fortunate to be enlightened by his predecessors such as Yan Bainian and Guo Shue Estate, and he devoted all his time to engraving, writing and painting. After the 1970s, his calligraphy and painting seal engraving works have become more and more mature, and his works have been continuously exhibited and published, and they have gradually attracted the attention of the art world. In 1988, he cooperated with Mr. Yang Zaichun to publish the "Selected Calligraphy and Seal Engraving of Tang and Song Poems", which won him the Third Literary and Art Revitalization Award of the People's Government of Hebei Province, becoming the first person to publish a book by Yan Zhao Seal Carver, and also laying his position in the field of seal engraving in China.
Liu Chunfeng wants to use the carving knife in his hand to carve a new realm, he immersed himself in the study of seal carving works in the pre-Qin, Tang, Song and Ming and Qing dynasties, drawing nutrients from traditional seal carvings and sculptures, and then going deep into various places to collect wind, and then applying what he learned and saw to his own creations. From the rules to the layout, from the lines to the structure, he strives not to fall into the ground, his works are harmonious, simple and atmospheric, and do not lose their freedom and humor, in the process of the collision of swords and stones, reflecting a natural and simple rhythm.
After entering old age, Liu Chunfeng's rich life experience has made Liu Chunfeng more and more prominent in artistic creation, and his works integrate calligraphy, seal carving, sculpture and other arts into one, calm and thick, flexible and changeable, unique personality, and the content is more colorful.
Nowadays, Teacher Liu has passed the age of ancient rarity, but his heart has never aged, he must use the brush and carving knife in his hand to write out his love and exploration of art, and carve out the artist's responsibility and the true meaning of life.
