What is history: it is the echo of the past to the future, the reflection of the future on the past. - Hugo
The things of the world are like the snow in the middle of the night, quietly unfolding when people are not careful, and after a night, everything around them has completely changed. Late on the night of February 22, 1415, snowflakes flew and the prisoner Xie Jin was dragged into a snowdrift in a drunken state. At dawn, the snow covered everything, and the spirited and brilliant talent of the Ming Dynasty had passed away.

Unravel
Xie Jin was born in a scholarly mendi in Ji'an, Jiangxi Province, from an early age, brilliant, 7 years old can write poetry; 10 years old can recite a thousand words a day, never forget; 18 years old to participate in the township examination (Jiangxi Provincial Unified Examination), won the first name Xie Yuan; 19 years old in the examination, is the youngest of the same list of jinshi; 20 years old into the career, became Zhu Yuanzhang's close subjects. Xie Jin, a super scholar who is young and ambitious, is famous all over the world and has become a young junjie admired by thousands of people. Perhaps it is precisely because the early life experience is too smooth, Xie Jin is completely unaware of the dangers of the career path, and uses that cavity of spirit and freedom on the treacherous court, and finally hits the head and bleeds.
During Zhu Yuanzhang's reign, he attached great importance to Xie Jin, and one day he summoned Xie Jin to his side to talk about current affairs and encouraged him: "We are like fathers and sons in private, and you should know everything." As soon as Xie Jin heard that the emperor regarded himself as a son, he did not take the emperor as an outsider, and wrote tens of thousands of words of "The Western Seal of the Great Ku", which pointed out many shortcomings in the government of the dynasty, proposed solutions, and even wrote about what books the emperor should read and what books he should not read. Fortunately, Zhu Yuanzhang should set an example of humility and advice, and laughed at Xie Jin's frivolity, but instead praised him for his talent and let him continue to offer advice to the imperial court.
Ordinary people may receive it when they see it, after all, the emperor's heart is as deep as the sea! However, Xie Jin was not an ordinary person, he was only eight buckets tall, his heart was proud, he was praised by the emperor, and he was even more hesitant and full of ambition, bent on becoming an imperial teacher, and soon presented Zhu Yuanzhang with the "Ten Strategies of Taiping", and put forward a number of strategies from politics to economy. He forgot the phrase "too much is bound to be lost", and mentioned the hidden danger of dividing the kings in the "Ten Strategies", which just went against Zhu Yuanzhang's dragon scales, and 10 years ago, a minister was arrested and imprisoned by Zhu Yuanzhang because he said "sealing the domain is too luxurious", and starved to death. This time, Zhu Yuanzhang was patient and did not have a seizure in court, but he was very uncomfortable in his heart: Aren't you alienating our father-son relationship!
Xie Jin was not a nerd, he had a true insight into the politics of the dynasty, and he was not completely unaware of the emperor's jealousy. He just regarded the officialdom as a jianghu and regarded himself as a chivalrous warrior, bent on fighting injustice, eliminating evil and promoting good. In 1380, the Hu Weiyong case broke out, implicating more than 15,000 people, and Li Shanchang, the first founding hero of the country, was forced to commit suicide. Yubu Langzhong Kingdom used to defend Li Shanchang, xie jin actually took the initiative to ghostwrite for him, and the article was written arbitrarily, whipping it into it, and explaining the reason why Li Shanchang would not rebel thoroughly. Zhu Yuanzhang was angry in his heart, but he also secretly admired Xie Jin's insight and literary style, and did not pursue his boldness. Soon, Xie Jin wrote another letter to impeach Yushi Yuan Tai, exposing the evil deeds of this traitorous villain to the fullest. But this time, Zhu Yuanzhang did not tolerate Xie Jin any longer, and he felt that Xie Jin's pen had disturbed the court and disrupted his order of arbitrariness. Therefore, he accused Xie Jin of lacking education and tempering, and needed to return to his hometown to reflect, and then be used by the imperial court when he matured ten years later.
So Xie Jin, who had just been in the army for three years, rode a donkey and returned to his hometown with a stomach full of grievances, and stayed for eight years. After Zhu Yuanzhang's death, Xie Jin couldn't stay in his hometown anymore, so he ran straight to the capital. He forgot the "ten-year period" set by Zhu Yuanzhang for him, many people who had been impeached by him impeached him for "violating the will of the former emperor", and some people revealed that his mother had died and had not been buried, and his father was 90 years old, but he came to the capital to ask for an official. Such disloyalty and filial piety, Emperor Jianwen was full of evil feelings about Xie Jin, and immediately ordered him to be demoted to Hezhou Wei in Lintao, Shaanxi Province, and became a grass-roots official. Xie Jin fell into an even greater depression and despair, and he was forced to lower his haughty head and ask for help from the few friends in the capital. With the help of his friends, Xie Jincai was recalled to the capital, but he was never reused and became a visitor to the Jianwen Dynasty.
Zhu Di rebelled and seized the throne, giving Jinxin Tengda a chance. Since he was not valued by Emperor Jianwen, he should be loyal to the new master Zhu Di, and Xie Jin's choice was beyond reproach. His literary skills were quickly displayed, and Fang Xiaoru was unwilling to draft an edict of the throne for Zhu Di until his death, xie jinyang wrote it and gave Zhu Di a meeting gift, after all, Xie Jin's talent was known all over the world. As a result, Xie Jin took a ride on the Shitu helicopter from then on, and suddenly jumped from the Hanlin Zhizhao of the Nine Pins to the Zheng Liu Pin Waiter. Later, he was promoted to Hanlin Bachelor and a scholar of Right Chunfang University, and entered the cabinet formed by Zhu Di 's innovation (at this time, the cabinet was only the emperor's advisory body, not as powerful as later), serving as the first assistant and becoming Zhu Di's favorite.
Zhu Di needed literati to whitewash Taiping for him, and Xie Jin did a very hard and excellent job. He and Yao Guangxiao presided over the revision of the "Records of Taizu Shilu", using his "raw flower magic pen" to shape the consistent image of Zhu Di's heroic divine martial arts, indicating Taizu's consistent praise and trust in him. Xie Jin first presided over the compilation of the "Literature Dacheng", which was later rebuilt under the auspices of Yao Guangxiao and renamed the "Yongle Canon". This book preserves the historical geography, literature and art, philosophy, religion and encyclopedia of China before the 14th century, with a total of 22,937 volumes and about 370 million words, which is the world's largest encyclopedia so far, more than 300 years before the British Encyclopedia Britannica, and can be called a treasure of world cultural heritage. This is the precious wealth left to this world by the great ming talent Xie Jin.
If Xie Jin had devoted himself to studying and writing books, it is estimated that he would have died a good life, but he preferred to be a virtuous minister who governed the country and the world, and he lacked rich political experience and struggle strategies, which brought him ruin. He took the initiative to intervene in the "Dispute over Li Chu", which others could not avoid, and very clearly sided with Zhu Di's eldest son, Zhu Gaozi. Zhu Di liked the heroic and warlike second son Zhu Gaoxu in his heart, and did not like the fat and weak Zhu Gaoxu, and he hesitated in his heart. Xie Jin repeatedly addressed Zhu Di, hoping that he would soon establish his eldest son as crown prince. Seeing that Zhu Di was reluctant, he added another sentence, "Good Saint Sun." Relying on Zhu Di's ability to like the eldest grandson Zhu Zhanji, Zhu Zhanji's father, Zhu Gaozi, finally became the crown prince.
Zhu Gaoxu was happy, Zhu Gaoxu was angry, he hated Xie Jin the most, and repeatedly attacked and slandered Xie Jin in front of Zhu Di. Of course, Zhu Di knew that his son was venting his anger, but out of a compensatory psychology, he gradually alienated Jin. After all, he was ashamed of Zhu Gaoxu, and in the "Battle of Jingnan" that year, he once said to Zhu Gaoxu, who had made outstanding achievements in battle: "Shizi is weak, you should work hard!" This is obviously a wish and encouragement, but afterwards Zhu Di was hindered by many factors and could not fulfill this promise, and his heart was very entangled. How could Xie Jin, such a stupid and reckless student, be able to figure out zhu Di's state of mind! Zhu Di could not punish himself and the crown prince Zhu Gaoxu, but could only punish Xie Jin to calm Zhu Gaoxu's anger.
Xie Jin was dazed and did not know why, in the face of Zhu Gaoxu's arrogance, he foolishly advised Zhu Di to restrain Zhu Gaoxu. Enraged, Zhu Di said that Xie Jin was "alienated flesh and blood", so he demoted him to Guangxi, and later to the farther Jiaotong (present-day northern Vietnam). In 1410, Xie Jin entered the capital to play an affair, Zhu Di happened to lead an army to the north, he could not see the emperor, so he went to see the crown prince Zhu Gaozi, and then returned to Jiaotong. Zhu Gaoxu learned of this and pleaded with Zhu Di for his private views with the crown prince and his intentions to be wrong. Zhu Di pushed the boat along the water and arrested Xie Jin and imprisoned him. Three years later, on the list of prisoners to be released, Zhu Di discovered that he knew Jin's name, and he said lightly to Ji Gang, the commander of Jinyiwei: "Is Xie Jin still there?" ”
Zhu Di's 5 fluttering words determined the life and death of The Great Ming Talent. So what happened at the beginning of the article, Xie Jin was drunk, and then dragged into the snow to bury. Xie Jin returned to the sky in the snow at the age of 47. He was politically unsuccessful in his life, but he achieved great achievements in artistic creation, with vigorous articles, heroic poetry, exquisite calligraphy, and a "Yongle Canon" that shines through the ages, together with Yang Shen and Xu Wei, and is known as the three great talents of the Ming Dynasty.
