The new SUV of Great Wall Haval was officially named "Cool Dog": the shape is very windy

Today, Great Wall Motors officially announced that the Haval X DOG was officially named: Haval Cool Dog.

Previously, Haval had publicly called for names, and from the official options, there were ten names, namely two dogs, iron dogs, small wolf dogs, fun dogs, jin dogs, cool dogs, hot dogs, star dogs, Yan dogs and puppies. The "two dogs" with high voices from netizens regrettably failed.

Prior to this, Haval already had a model named after a dog on the market, namely the Haval Big Dog.

As Haval's second model named "Dog", Haval Kugou is also positioned in a compact SUV, after the concept car was officially unveiled at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. The car is very tough, with a blackened grille and round LED headlights.

Compared to the big dogs, the personalization of the Haval Cool Dog is more distinct. Judging from the previously exposed declaration chart, it is equipped with the same electronic gear handle of the tank 300, and also has a floating dashboard.

It was learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the new car has a length of 4520/1875/1745 and a wheelbase of 2710mm, which is a standard compact SUV body.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T engine, a maximum power of 135 kW (184 hp), and a top speed of 175 km/h.

The new car may be officially released in the first half of 2022.
